Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
This policy explains what ATOM Club collects when you use this website and the early-access learning program, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
ATOM Club is an online learning club about practical, everyday use of AI. In this policy “we” means the team that operates ATOM Club at atomclub.ai. You can reach us at any time through the Get help form on this site.
What we collect
Account data: the email address you confirm with a one-time code, or the email address and account identifier Google shares when you choose Continue with Google. We request identity information only. We never ask for access to your Gmail, Drive or contacts, and we do not store passwords.
Learning data: whether you have started or finished the introduction and your last playback position, so you can continue where you left off.
Help requests: the message you send us, the topic, the page you were on and your email so we can reply.
Usage events: page and button events such as opening the introduction, starting the video and reaching playback milestones, a random session identifier, the app version and campaign tags from the link you arrived through (for example utm_source). These events do not contain your email, sign-in codes, messages or notes.
Technical data: IP address and browser information processed by our servers for security, rate limiting and error diagnostics.
How we use it
To create and secure your account, to deliver the introduction and remember your progress, to answer help requests, to understand which parts of the product work and where people get stuck, and to protect the service from abuse. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Cookies and device storage
We set one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. It is HTTP-only and cannot be read by scripts. During Google sign-in we set a short-lived security cookie. Your theme and text-size choices and your analytics preference are stored in your browser on your device. Campaign tags are kept in session storage until you close the tab.
Optional analytics
Usage events and Google Tag Manager are optional. You can turn them off on the Account page at any time. Turning them off never limits what you can watch.
Service providers
We use an email delivery provider to send sign-in codes and replies, Google if you choose Google sign-in, and a hosting provider that runs our servers. They process data on our behalf and only for these purposes.
We also use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tags that help us understand traffic sources and how the site is used. These tags may set cookies and receive technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you open. They do not receive your email, sign-in codes or messages. Turning off Optional analytics on the Account page stops Google Tag Manager from loading on this device.
Retention
We keep account and learning data while your account is active. Sign-in codes expire within minutes and are stored only in hashed form. You can ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it through the Get help form; we will confirm once it is done.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us through Get help and we will respond within a reasonable time. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
Children
ATOM Club is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above and tell signed-in members before the change takes effect.
